How to Prevent BMW Saddlebags from Falling Off

OOn most every Oil-Head BMW and many K-Bikes with the plastic saddlebags, the L-Bracket inside the lock mechanism is very fragile. Once it breaks, there is nothing securing the bags to the motorcycle. All it takes is one good bump and your luggage will be skittering down the highway. While the BMW part is around $200, you can still prevent your bags from falling off the motorcycle with this super simple modification. This modification is also a great preventative measure, providing a little additional strength to the system that can prevent the L-Bracket from breaking in the event of a minor tip-over.
